Whale wallets are identified by monitoring derivatives exchanges for accounts with consistently large position sizes. Wallets are added to the tracking list based on sustained high-capital activity, not one-off trades. The current list includes 58 actively-tracked wallets.

Whale positions on Hyperliquid are collected every 5 minutes. Each collection records the wallet address, asset, position size in USD, direction (long/short), leverage, and entry price. The consensus signal recalculates every 15 minutes.

What data is collected for each whale?

For each tracked wallet, Swarm Intellect records: open positions (asset, size, direction, leverage), position changes over time, dollar-weighted long/short ratio, and historical activity patterns. Over 4 million whale position records have been collected.
